Along with it's Wednesday night speaker series, the International Relations Organization holds two major social events and two Model United Nations conferences each year.
VAMUN XXX: The Virginia Model United Nations Conference is attended by high school students from across the East coast and staffed by University students. More information on VAMUN can be found here.
Montfair: IRO hosts a semi-formal date function (complete with bonfire and s'mores making) in a lake-side cabin venue at the beautiful Montfair Resort Farm. Montfair will be April 16th, 2011. Ticket prices will be posted later.
Foxfield: IRO hosts a plot in the student section of the annual Foxfield Spring Races. Come by this Spring for socializing and refreshments between the horse races.
VICS XVI: The Virginia International Crisis Simulation is attended by college students hailing from California to Montreal to many schools right in Virginia. For more information this small-committee crisis intensive conference, go here.
